For example, if you are writing marketing materials for new technological items, use words such as "new," "advanced" or "state-of-the-art" that are commonly used in that industry. Using the right words will help increase your products' appeal to your customers.

Check out spam emails you receive yourself to see what you should not do in your email marketing campaign. Create a free email address and post it publicly online; the spam should appear quickly. Take a look at those emails and learn what you don't want yours to look like. If you see any similarities, adjust your email marketing campaign. Ensuring your emails look nothing like spam will boost their effectiveness.

In addition to using email marketing, incorporate SMS marketing into your campaign. Have customers sign up for an SMS option and send them text messages when on the go. When these two methods are used together, you have a better chance of getting more customers to sign up for your product.

You should focus your email marketing efforts on your most promising customers. While uniformity and persistence is key, it will be wasted if it is not sent to the right group of consumers. If your messages are not properly targeted, your customer base cannot grow.
